Elaine Alexander

She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from New Mexico Tech in 2014 and promptly went into a PhD program at Arizona State University for applied Mathematics. At that time, was particularly interested in Mathematical Biology, and specifically how she might use models to understand and benefit wildlife populations. Once there, realizing that modelling was too theoretical and detached to feel a sense of purpose. She began spending her time instead at Arizona Humane Society and after some soul-searching decided she could do purposeful work in the field of Veterinary medicine and be just as academically challenged. She is particularly interested in studying farmed animal . She have not spent much time around large animals up until this year and have discovered the she loves it.
